Blue-Tooth Head-Set Not Pairing With Cell-Phone

Dear reader,

Either you are a customer of a cell-phone company who cannot seem to get your Blue-Tooth Head-Set working to Pair with your Cell-Phone or you are working as a tech-support personnel at a call-centre that does not seem to have any «correct» answers for you to be able to help fix your customer's Blue-Tooth HeadSet-Pairing problems. Most-likely the latter so I shall write in a manner that primarily addresses the latter. Well, you are in luck, because I have the correct answer. Let us keep this short-and-sweet so that you can keep your call-time to a minimum and get to your next customer, but, before that, you and the customer who has called you needs to know something very important:

NOT EVERY BLUE-TOOTH DEVICE UNIVERSALLY PAIRS WITH EVERY OTHER BLUE-TOOTH DEVICE!!!

That is correct, for, contrary to what you were taught by that tech-support company/corporation you work for (typical of corporations), not every Blue-Tooth Head-Set will be able to pair with every cell-phone in existence. Blue-Tooth Head-Sets will have what is known as a «Compatibility List» which will usually be listed on the manufacturer's web-site for the head-set. (actually, I have been semi-retired for years since last actively working as a tax-slave, but corporations/governments usually have «ingrained» belief-systems/policies that are typically very slow-to-change unless they get sued to make such changes)
